This report evaluates heavy metal health risks in 15 South African mineral processing sectors. It identifies 33 toxic elements via a four-step assessment: hazard, dose-response, exposure, and risk characterisation. It provides a reference for occupational health management, monitoring protocols, and worker safety in these industrial plants.
